Peeping In A Mirror

Reading you is like seeing a mirror
one from deep in my mind's eye
A reflection of the world I keep hid
thou you feel like a lover's spy.

Never far from the real truth
the one which flutters on the edge
as I tip toe round the opening
seems you are nearby on the ledge.

Only thing I regret in the knowing
you were not there at first to share
but now all I need is to inhale
and you appear right from thin air.

I thank my lucky stars for you
for every bit of joy you bring
while I am forever fluttering inside
my heart does dance and sing.

A Toast To You

Bubbling like a seltzer
dribbling over cubes of ice.
The joy you bring to me
a lot better than nice.

Words I let be exposed
actually are but a soft touch
Tho my soul really craves
to wallow in your clutch.

Like vapors drenching me
from breaths inhaled quite deep.
A fantasy of sort from dreams
I wish I were able to keep.

I'll treasure you like champaign
holding a fluted toasted kiss.
Letting you know your value
making heaven less than this.

We Made Love While Writing

We made love while writing
between the spaces of a line.
Passion found us as creation rose
sparking lust lovely and devine.

We wallowed within those words
as each caressed tenderly and nice.
No less an explosive union
like lovers get once or twice.

We made precious love
in the body of a writer's word
with effervescent pinings
like none you've ever heard.

While writing in poetic song
we fell into ecstatic bliss
In the middle of the poem
we shared a lovers kiss.

No part of our hearts
nor even any bits of soul
could evade the rumblings
we thought had grown cold.

We made passionate love
sealed tightly with a kiss
making sure even heaven
seems a lot less than this.

Pardon My Glowing

Pardon my glowing, please
its the radiance of your touch.
I rise up to the high road
in the lavender of your clutch.

I seem able to drift
to stars in the skies
from the shadows cast
by the blink of your eyes.

Pardon my glowing, dear
can't help but offer a smile.
As your eyes glance my way
then linger for a while.

My universe spins
on an axis of love with you
like the way dawn softly
lifts the morning dew.

Pardon my glowing, love
as I sparkle from your rays
which seems able to keep me
wallowing thru all my days.

Like chocolate melts
when exposed to heat
My emotions run full blast
whenever we chance to meet.

Oh, my dear one,
want you in the full knowing
that you are responsible
for this bright radiant glowing.
