We Made Love While Writing

We made love while writing
between the spaces of a line.
Passion found us as creation rose
sparking lust lovely and devine.

We wallowed within those words
as each caressed tenderly and nice.
No less an explosive union
like lovers get once or twice.

We made precious love
in the body of a writer's word
with effervescent pinings
like none you've ever heard.

While writing in poetic song
we fell into ecstatic bliss
In the middle of the poem
we shared a lovers kiss.

No part of our hearts
nor even any bits of soul
could evade the rumblings
we thought had grown cold.

We made passionate love
sealed tightly with a kiss
making sure even heaven
seems a lot less than this.
