I'm on my way to sunshine
to get a peep at you.
Now that the clouds be gone
I know just what to do.

I never knew the sunshine
nor a clear sky so blue
till first we shared love
as the stars shone right thru.

Never knew tenderness
as I learned ways from you
nor the comfort in a touch
that shiver thru and thru

I never knew those thrills
not at the levels I now do.
I am so ever grateful
your sun is shining thru.
