Reaching The Spot

She aches to know happiness
as troubling tides arise
and I bet she will one day
to her prayerful surprise.

Happiness shows its bloom
in forms returning again.
Not only in the opening rose
but in the softness of the rain.

Those little waves stumbling
thru the soul with delight
actually reaching the spot
are blooms on a starry night.

Sadness will be gathered
called out by its very name.
In the mirror of life
most reflections are the same.

We look past details
craving for what's brand new.
Often times missing so much
letting happiness pass right thru.

Have you ever looked;
keenly viewing the starry skies.
Might they be from God's face
you're seeing twinkles from his eyes.

Wipe those frowns from your face
take a hard look at what you've got.
The Nightingale, chanting divinely!
Certainly, every rose reaching the spot.

You tickle me with your words, delight me with your sense of passion, make me want to ache in a good way. You warm me on my island tonight...

In my moment of rant and despair you brighten my soul and turn me around, to remember all that I hold, All that I speak
frequently, and had lost in my moment of rant...
Thank you for turning me around...

Spencer, I love the way this poem takes us by the hand and gently whispers...look for what is important and not that which is superficial.

You've certainly got it going on my dear!

Warmest hugs and smiles,

Not to worry. This is the type of commercialism I can live with. A monsterously wonderful idea to get more of us together. And no way I can possibly forget to thank Ayn for her yeoman efforts to get me to this point. But more about that later.

Appreciate this special service to help us connect with each other. Thanks much to you and all who made this possible.
